The new Gekka Bijin X LT contains all the latest technologies that Daiwa uses on higher range reels. LC-ABS, ABS Long Cast is the advanced coil form of ABS-II that releases lines faster and smoother than ABS-II, which gains casting distance and reduces line problems, which works incredibly especially for the intertwined lines. The newly shaped Air Rotor rotor is drastically lightened but strong, so the spool can be very light and smooth. This also improves sensitivity. Also featured is the new High-Grip I-Shape Finesse knob, which is lightweight and grips very well on the hand for ease of control. Air Bail reduces line problems at the line roller and improves its strength with light weight thanks to the hollow structure. Also featured is Magsealed, DAIWA's original waterproof structure with heavy-duty magnetic oil in salt water, despite its low price.

<p>The Daiwa 23 Lexa LT front drag reel has an aluminum body and airdrive design! Creating the new Airdrive design concept with a torsion-resistant metal reel body, the 23 Lexa LT reel offers a silky smooth ride and plenty of winding power. The Airdrive concept reduces the weight of the reel and shifts the balance further back, this means more sensitive fishing and better feel when casting are possible. The Airdrive rotor made of Zaion V material starts even with light pressure without high starting resistance and ensures high sensitivity and optimal control of the bait, even with light baits. The metal body of the reel ensures torsion-free storage of the equipment and long-lasting smooth operation. The Tough Digigear drive is extremely robust and precise and ensures optimal power transmission even under high loads. The newly developed Airdrive construction offers reliable protection against tangles, ideal when fishing in strong winds. The extra light Airdrive spool ensures low weight and the special ejection edge for long casting distances. The new ATD-L clutch guarantees fluidity in the first release and greater control during combat.
