An excellent choice for experienced anglers as well as those looking to target squid with a lure specifically designed for this fishing technique.

Shimano

A special spinnerbait special combines that combines double vanes and a clever design. The Bantam Swagy TW, the arms are made with wires of different thicknesses to improve the action and the head is a combination of two different metals to create greater balance and stability. The lower arm is made with 0.95 mm wire, designed to stabilize the center of gravity and ensure a solid swimming position and maneuverability, while the upper arm, which holds the paddles, is 30% thinner (0 60 mm) and more flexible to maximize the transition of movement and vibration up to the skirt. This design is further enhanced by the construction of the head, which is made with a combination of lightweight tin at the top and heavier tungsten at the bottom. This improves recovery stability and returns the Bantam Swagy TW to the correct position after hitting obstacles and on the bottom.

Daiwa

Daiwa's Tako Egi is a special squid toy equipped with a dedicated hook system, colored lead and vibrating willow headstock. Instead of the classic harpette, this Egi is equipped with barbless hooks oriented upwards: this conformation, combined with the particular weight balance that keeps them always raised from the bottom, allows you to avoid annoying stumbling blocks.

Shimano

Compact, lifelike and highly customisable, the Shimano Bantam Facer 85+SF is designed to handle a wide range of fishing situations with a single lure. Its 85 mm profile and Slow Floating buoyancy make it a versatile option for predator fishing, while its modular design allows anglers to tailor the swimming action to suit changing conditions. Powered by ARMABOOST technology, the articulated body folds during the cast to improve aerodynamics and promote longer, more accurate casts. Once in the water, interchangeable short and long lips allow anglers to adjust the swimming depth, expanding presentation options without having to switch lures. The tail and joint configurations can also be fine-tuned to alter the lure’s hydrodynamic response. Depending on the setup, the Facer 85+SF can deliver a smooth, linear retrieve, a tight wobbling action or a more pronounced rolling motion. This flexibility helps anglers adapt to fishing pressure, water clarity and changing predator activity. The Bantam Facer 85+SF is an excellent choice for anglers alternating between subtle presentations and more aggressive retrieves when targeting perch and pike. Available in 8 colours, this technical swimbait combines a compact profile, realistic swimming action and versatile configuration options in one adaptable lure.

Daiwa

Designed for vertical fishing for large marine predators, the Daiwa Monster Loves Tentacle Set combines a deep-water fishing sinker, high-quality hooks and an advanced rigging system. Developed through collaboration between the Daiwa team and experienced anglers, the set has been refined through extensive sea trials and testing under a variety of fishing conditions. Every component has been selected and configured to meet the demands of targeting dentex, groupers, amberjack and other bottom predators, where descent control, accurate bait presentation and rig reliability are essential. Stable presentation and controlled descent The lead head geometry is designed to promote a fast, controlled vertical descent while helping maintain a consistent working position in strong currents or during boat drift. This allows anglers to present the bait more accurately at the desired depth and close to feeding areas identified with an echo sounder. BKK Octopus Beak hooks: reliability when it matters The set features BKK Octopus Beak hooks designed for natural-bait fishing. The offset Kirbed point helps improve hooking efficiency, while the Wide Gap profile provides the clearance required for bulky baits, including squid, cuttlefish and live baitfish. High-carbon steel construction and a chemically sharpened Needle Point combine penetration performance with strength and reliability, providing confidence when targeting powerful, hard-fighting predators. D-FREE RIG: greater freedom of movement and natural bait presentation The key component is the D-FREE RIG, developed by Daiwa to allow the sinker to slide with reduced resistance. This configuration reduces the influence of the sinker on bait movement, promoting a freer, more natural presentation throughout the descent and fishing action. Compatibility with different natural baits allows anglers to adapt their rigging strategy to the target species and prevailing conditions. Easy Change Sinker: quick adaptation to changing conditions The Easy Change Sinker system allows anglers to change sinker weight quickly and conveniently without replacing the entire leader. This is particularly useful when depth, current strength or boat drift changes and the rig needs to be adjusted to maintain effective control. The Daiwa Monster Loves Tentacle Set combines technical design, carefully selected components and a modular configuration in one integrated system, developed for anglers who demand precision, adaptability and performance when vertical fishing at sea.
