DAIWA 23 TATULA MQ LT

Daiwa

The new Daiwa 20 Tournament QD reel was created expressly to meet the needs of competitors in the match and feeder technique, a reel you can fully rely on during difficult fishing challenges in competition mode. The Hardbody Z coil body is the foundation of a permanent solid gear housing even under excessive and demanding applications. The Tough Digigear is responsible for smooth operation and is highly durable. By further optimizing the Zaion design and rotor, the weight has been significantly reduced compared to the previous TD-X edition. The MagSealed design prevents the intrusion of water and dirt particles, greatly extending the life of the coil. With the help of the QD drag system you can react to changing conditions while fighting with fish in seconds. Longcast ABS aluminum spool features less friction when casting and improves casting distances. Aluminum body. Air Rotor in Zaion. Magsealed to protect the body. One-piece Air Bail headband. One Touch Folding Handle. Long Cast Aluminum 57mm ABS spool. Twist Buster II liner roller. Tough Digigear mechanics. Infinite Anti-Reverse. Anti-reverse release lever. Cross Wrap Spooling. Quick Drag Clutch. 2 spare spools supplied.

Daiwa

The new BG series from Daiwa has changed the game of what affordable quality looks like in heavy-duty spinning reels. Now, by combining Monocoque Body (MQ) technology with the mass market appeal of BG, 20 BG MQ is born. Monocoque Body (MQ) is the single biggest revolution in spinning reel design from Daiwa by totally eliminating the traditional two-piece body construction. MQ reels don’t use any side plates and feature a completely screwless body design which eliminates potential entry points for water & grime, and significantly enhances overall body strength and rigidity. The screwless design principle of MQ bodies are also significantly more compact than a standard body design. Screws need material to grip to, and that means more overall size and more mass in traditional body designs. By replacing the side plate with a machined aluminium engine plate which screws directly into the reel body, MQ reels can maximise the internal space made available by using larger size drive gears than before. Throughout the entire line-up of BG MQ, vast improvements have been made to almost all areas of the reel design. The drag has been improved both in maximum capacity but also in smooth overall performance, drastically reducing the friction of the Carbon ATD drag - BG MQ’s drag performance is unmatched by the competition.

Daiwa 25 Caldia LT represents the evolution of an iconic reel, with a lighter design, improved performance and a refined aesthetic. The monocoque body in Zaion V integrates the Airdrive Design technology, already introduced on the top of the range 22EXIST, optimizing rotor, coil, archet and driving roller. The new ATD-L clutch guarantees fluidity in the first release and greater control during combat. The unpublished 5000 versions, however, mount the powerful ATD Tough with carbon discs, ideal for counteracting large fish with maximum effectiveness.

Monocoque Body in Zaion V
AIRDRIVE Rotor in Zaion V
AIRDRIVE Bail
ATD Type-L Drag (up to size 4000)
ATD Tough Drag only for size 5000 (Carbon Discs)
Magsealed Technology for body protection
AIRDRIVE ABS Long Cast Spool in Aluminum
Tough Digigear Mechanism
Round EVA Knob on size 5000
6 Ball Bearings, including 1 CRBB
Twist Buster III Line Roller
Infinite Anti-Reverse
Cross Wrap Line Lay
