A monocoque body eliminates the need for a side plate and allows for a stiffer body and the use of larger gears to improve winding power and torque. The machine forged Tough Digigear of the Certate LT has a diameter greater than 2mm. than its closest competitor. Combining the benefits of our MQ monocoque body and the new gear design, the 19 Certate is stronger, smoother and more powerful than all the others. The Certate LT monocoque body is our most advanced, lightest and strongest body we've ever developed for a Certate. Strength is one thing, but the smoothness of a fishing reel is often the easiest feature to feel and the 19 Certate still raises the bar in this realm. Rotational efficiency is increased by 15%, creating an effortless feeling during recovery. This increase in efficiency is due to three main parts. A super stiff stainless steel main shaft, MQ monocoque body and Tough Digigear precision forged aluminum.
