Daiwa 26 Tournament QD has been developed specifically for Match and Feeder fishing, where casting consistency, distance control and smooth mechanical performance are essential.
Its aluminium reel body provides a rigid platform for the internal gearing, while TOUGH DIGIGEAR delivers smooth and consistent power transmission. The Airdrive Design shifts the reel's balance closer to the angler's hand, helping reduce fatigue during long fishing sessions.
Airdrive Design
The AIRDRIVE DESIGN focuses on weight distribution, reducing the influence of the reel's mass on the overall balance of the rod and reel combination.
The system is combined with a ZAION V Rotor and AIRDRIVE BAIL, creating a lightweight rotating assembly designed for responsive handling during repeated casts and retrieves.
Aluminium Body and Tough Digigear
The rigid aluminium body helps maintain gear alignment when the reel is placed under load.
TOUGH DIGIGEAR provides smooth and reliable power transmission, while the screw-in handle connects directly to the drive gear to minimize play and provide a more direct retrieve feel.
Airdrive Bail and Twist Buster 3
The AIRDRIVE BAIL guides the line smoothly toward the line roller, while TWIST BUSTER 3 is designed to reduce line twist during retrieval.
This combination is particularly useful when fishing with thin lines, where line management can have a direct impact on casting performance.
Double HIP Line Clip
The double HIP Line Clip is particularly useful for Feeder anglers who regularly alternate between different fishing distances.
Two separate distances can be memorized on the same spool, allowing the angler to switch between spots without losing the reference distance. The double-spring construction is also designed to reduce stress on the line during repeated casts.
QD Quick Drag
The QD Quick Drag system allows the drag setting to be changed rapidly with a short turn of the drag knob.
This makes it possible to adapt the drag quickly during different stages of the fight, maintaining direct control over the fish.
MAGSEALED Protection
MAGSEALED technology helps protect the main shaft from water and impurities, contributing to long-term mechanical smoothness and reliability.
ABS Long Cast Spool and Spare Spools
The aluminium ABS Long Cast spool is designed to provide smooth line release during casting.
The reel is supplied with two additional spools, increasing its versatility when different line diameters or fishing conditions require a quick change.
The configurations differ according to size:
- 3010: supplied with a 3008 spool for thinner lines and a second 3010 spool.
- 4010: equipped with the proven T-shaped handle knob.
- 3010: features the new Large I Shape Knob, providing a wider and more secure grip.

In case of damaged goods, we invite you to send an email to our address info@fishingshopping.it within 24 hours of receiving the package, with attached photographic documentation relating to the damaged goods, the email must also contain the reference of the order number.
With the opening of the file, we will proceed with the collection of the goods at your address and reimbursement of the expenses incurred or, at your request, with a new shipment of the goods, all at our expense.
