Daiwa 26 Tanacom S300J brings Daiwa's electric-reel technology into a remarkably compact body weighing just 540 g.
Designed to be comfortably operated while holding the reel directly in the hand, the Tanacom S300J combines a powerful BRITZ Motor with a compact internal layout and an intuitive control system. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of saltwater techniques, from bottom fishing for sea bream and horse mackerel to squid fishing and medium-depth applications.
JOG Power Lever
The centrally positioned JOG Power Lever is one of the defining features of the Tanacom S300J.
It allows the angler to control the retrieve using the thumb of the same hand holding the rod. Retrieve speed can therefore be adjusted quickly without changing grip, leaving the other hand free and making the reel particularly intuitive to operate during active fishing.
BRITZ Motor and MAGMIGHT Structure
At the heart of the Tanacom S300J is the BRITZ Motor, engineered to deliver fast and smooth retrieval even under significant load.
The MAGMIGHT structure combined with the Front Motor (FF Structure) makes efficient use of the internal space and contributes to motor cooling while keeping the reel compact.
Despite its small size and low weight, the reel delivers a maximum winding power of 59 kg, providing substantial power for demanding saltwater applications.
Controlled Line Drop
The Fall Brake Dial provides direct control over the descent speed of the line.
The adjustment can be made easily with the thumb, helping to manage the lure or rig during the drop and reducing the risk of line tangles. It also allows the angler to control the presentation more precisely while the bait is sinking.
ATD Drag
The Daiwa Automatic Tournament Drag (ATD) provides progressive drag pressure for smoother load management during the fight.
Its progressive response helps reduce sudden increases in tension on the line, particularly when dealing with sudden runs or changes in pressure during the fight.
LCD Display and Italian Interface
The large LCD Dot Matrix display provides clear access to the reel's main electronic functions.
The interface is available in 9 languages, including Italian, allowing easy configuration of line settings, depth information and retrieve functions.
Synchro Level Wind and Aluminium Spool
The Synchro Level Wind system helps distribute the line evenly during retrieval.
The reel is equipped with an aluminium spool and a robust Power Handle, providing a secure grip and good leverage when retrieving under load.
Sealed Electronics and Washable Design
The sealed electronic system allows the reel to be washed after use, an important advantage when fishing in saltwater.
Proper cleaning after marine use helps remove salt and residue from the external surfaces and maintain the reel in good condition. Washing should always be carried out according to Daiwa's care instructions.
