At the same time, Daiwa has focused heavily on weight reduction and ergonomics, bringing the reel down to just <strong>750 g</strong>.</p> <p>Its compact body is designed for a more natural grip during long fishing sessions. The main control is the new aluminium <strong>JOG Power Lever</strong>, centrally positioned and operated with the thumb of the hand holding the rod. This allows the angler to change the retrieve speed without changing grip, which is particularly useful when alternating between continuous retrieve, pauses and changes in lure action.</p> <p>JOG Power Lever</p> <p>The new JOG control makes motor speed management much more immediate. The aluminium lever features a specially machined surface designed to provide a secure grip even with wet hands or when wearing gloves.</p> <p>Thumb operation allows the angler to adjust motor speed while keeping the hand in the same position.
