<p>The line of Daiwa EMERALDAS reels, designed for eging fishing, is enriched with the new <strong>DAIWA 23 EMERALDAS RX LT</strong>. This model features a body in ZAION V Monocoque, a material that ensures a more solid structure and effective protection against external agents. The main components, such as the rotor and the AIRDRIVE headband, are designed to ensure lightness and smoothness, helping to offer a smooth and pleasant fishing experience. Among the technical features of the reel, we find an ATD Type-L drag for optimal control, a Long Cast ABS aluminum spool for longer and more precise casts, and a Tough Digigear gear system that improves resistance and durability. The reel also features five ball bearings and two CRBB bearings, the Twist Buster III system to reduce line twist, and Cross Wrap spooling for even line distribution. Furthermore, the self-screwing aluminum crank and high-density EVA knob ensure a comfortable grip. A version with double crank is also available for those who prefer this configuration.</p>

Now, by combining Monocoque Body (MQ) technology with the mass market appeal of BG, 20 BG MQ is born. Monocoque Body (MQ) is the single biggest revolution in spinning reel design from Daiwa by totally eliminating the traditional two-piece body construction. MQ reels don’t use any side plates and feature a completely screwless body design which eliminates potential entry points for water & grime, and significantly enhances overall body strength and rigidity. The screwless design principle of MQ bodies are also significantly more compact than a standard body design. Screws need material to grip to, and that means more overall size and more mass in traditional body designs. By replacing the side plate with a machined aluminium engine plate which screws directly into the reel body, MQ reels can maximise the internal space made available by using larger size drive gears than before. Throughout the entire line-up of BG MQ, vast improvements have been made to almost all areas of the reel design. The drag has been improved both in maximum capacity but also in smooth overall performance, drastically reducing the friction of the Carbon ATD drag - BG MQ’s drag performance is unmatched by the competition.

This new version has been made lighter and more responsive than the previous model, with a weight reduction of 15 grams. Both the body and the Airdrive rotor, featuring a spherical design, are made of ZAION V, an exclusive Daiwa carbon composite material that offers an ideal combination of lightness and robustness. The reel is equipped with six bearings, including an anti-corrosion CRBB type positioned in the line guide roller, which guarantees optimal smoothness and durability over time. Furthermore, the new generation ATD-L drag has been calibrated to offer superior sensitivity, essential for accurate control when fishing in Trout Area, especially with thin lines.
