<p>The <strong>Trabucco Corsair Specialist Ika Sense Metal boat rod</strong> is designed for squid fishing using a technique called slow jigging. Made with high quality materials, this rod offers a good balance between lightness, sensitivity and resistance. It is made up of two CX-1 High Modulus carbon sections, which join together via a spigot joint to ensure a stable connection. The top of the barrel is painted white with fluorescent orange ligatures for increased visibility. K-profile frame SiC guides are corrosion resistant and suitable for braided line use. The reel seat is made of graphite with a rubber-coated steel slider for a better grip. The handle is split and made of high density EVA to offer good control while fishing. The hard rubber cross cap protects the rod end when not in use. The Ika rig is specially designed for catching squid using slow jigging. A rubber o-ring is fixed to each ligature to protect the sections from knocks during transport. Graphite screw reel seat with anatomical grip.
