The MOON SHOT is an inshore spinning rod designed for sea fishing from beaches, rocks and even harbor walls, using medium sized hardbaits (plugs) and metal jigs to fish for sea bass and other coastal predator species . Lightweight, balanced blanks, combined with exceptional casting performance, the Moon Shot was designed in Japan and constructed from high modulus carbon with Hi-Power X technology for increased torsional strength and rapid tip recovery during cast. Fuji K-Type guides are used throughout the range to improve line ejection and minimize damage to braided lines and monofilaments. All models are two-piece and the lighter 2.59m (8'6 ") ML model can cast lures weighing 6g up to 32g, while the powerful 2.90m (9 ' 6 ") covers weights from 10g to 52g and jigs up to 60g.

Shimano S.T.C. Monster are a series of travel rods made for spinning fishing for very big fish. The NEXAVE Spinning range offers a wide variety of models to suit all the needs of spinning enthusiasts. Full Carbon drums, there are three sub-categories within the range. The modern-looking EVA handle models have a two-piece construction and fast action, while the more traditional cork handle models have a two- or three-piece construction and moderate to fast action. All models in the range are equipped with ergonomic VSS-type reel seats and Seaguide Stainless Steel XOG tangle-free guides with aluminum oxide coatings. The rods were developed in conjunction with the NEXAVE reels, offering a beautifully matched combination at an entry-level price.
