But it is when you hook a trout that the rod shows its true values: it bends gently along its entire length, absorbing escapes and headbutts from the hooked trout. The Technium AS Full Carbon blanks are in line with the latest requirements for Trout Area rods. Lightweight, ultra-thin and with perfect action, the addition of Shimano's exclusive Diaflash technology gives all four models the perfect amount of backbone to accurately cast ultra-light lures and create spoons and micros hardbait. To reinforce the quality of the design, Technium AS uses Fuji KR type guides with Fazlite coatings, which work particularly well with ultra-thin braided lines. The ergonomic Shimano IPS reel seat was chosen to ensure comfort and sensitivity and the split grip cork handle completes the modern and classic look.
