The Shimano Ocea Bettyu Hiramasa are artificial lures for spinning fishing for large marine predators. They are equipped with Shimano's "Flash Boost" technology. A mirror insert is housed within the body structure of the lure, vibrating to provide a continuous internal reflection of light and UV rays. This is amplified by a counterbalanced spring mechanism which ensures that the vibration is maintained even when the lure is paused, continuing to entice fish between moves. Shimano's signature 'Scale Boost' finish is integrated providing a realistic holographic pattern to emulate the shimmer of the scales on the side of a baitfish. The Bettyu Hiramasa features a central tune and is designed with a specific center of gravity, sitting in the water in an upright posture when paused to reduce the chance of snagging and dive errors.
