Precision, power and control. The new Shimano Curado DC A 151 combines the proven toughness of the Curado family with advanced casting-control technology designed to make every cast more intuitive, efficient and consistent.
At the heart of the reel is the i-DC4 Digital Control system, a self-powered microcomputer that electronically manages spool speed throughout the cast. By continuously controlling spool rotation, the system helps the angler maintain a more controlled cast while reducing the risk of backlash and keeping the presentation focused on the target.
Adjusting the reel is quick and straightforward. The external selector provides four dedicated modes for different fishing situations: maximum casting distance, braided line, fluorocarbon or stiffer lines, and maximum control for precision techniques such as skipping. This versatility makes the Curado DC easy to adapt as line type, lure weight and fishing conditions change.
The compact and well-balanced design features a rigid aluminium HAGANE Body, delivering a strong, solid feel while maintaining excellent ergonomics. Its palm-friendly profile provides a comfortable and secure grip, making precise reel control easier throughout long fishing sessions.
Underneath the compact body, MicroModule Gearing and X-SHIP combine to deliver smooth, powerful and efficient retrieve performance. The MGL III spool, supported by S3D and Silent Tune technologies, helps reduce vibration and optimize spool rotation for a smoother and more stable casting response.
The Curado DC A 151 is equally focused on performance when the fish is hooked. Its Cross Carbon Drag delivers smooth, progressive and consistent drag pressure, providing the confidence needed to control aggressive runs and sudden changes of direction.
The versatile 150 size is available in three gear-ratio configurations — MG, HG and XG — allowing anglers to select the retrieve speed best suited to their technique, lure presentation and fishing style.
The result is a refined and intuitive baitcasting reel that combines Shimano engineering with intelligent casting control, giving anglers greater confidence from the first cast to the final fight.

WARRANTY FOR GOODS DAMAGED DURING TRANSPORT
The moment of delivery of the material is appropriate before the signature requested by the courier, carefully check that the packaging is intact and that the sealing tape is not tampered with, if you find damage to the packaging, ask to sign with the right of reserve. In case of damaged goods, we invite you to send an email to our address info@fishingshopping.it within 24 hours of receiving the package, with attached photographic documentation relating to the damaged goods, the email must also contain the reference of the order number.
With the opening of the file, we will proceed with the collection of the goods at your address and reimbursement of the expenses incurred or, at your request, with a new shipment of the goods, all at our expense.
