You can't help but notice how well the Technium AS casts, even when using the smallest spoons, weighing less than 1g. But it is when you hook a trout that the rod shows its true values: it bends gently along its entire length, absorbing escapes and headbutts from the hooked trout. The Technium AS Full Carbon blanks are in line with the latest requirements for Trout Area rods. Lightweight, ultra-thin and with perfect action, the addition of Shimano's exclusive Diaflash technology gives all four models the perfect amount of backbone to accurately cast ultra-light lures and create spoons and micros hardbait. To reinforce the quality of the design, Technium AS uses Fuji KR type guides with Fazlite coatings, which work particularly well with ultra-thin braided lines. The ergonomic Shimano IPS reel seat was chosen to ensure comfort and sensitivity and the split grip cork handle completes the modern and classic look. Shimano S.T.C. Monster are a series of travel rods made for spinning fishing for very big fish. Your partner in crime when you want to fish for the monsters in the fresh or salt, but still being able to fit in your suitcase. The 240cm is perfect for casting big lures, like big stickbaits, poppers or crankbaits when fishing from the boat. The 315cm version is also great for casting lures from the banks, but also the ultimate travel rod for fishing with e.g. a big chunk of fish when targeting ray or sharks when being on holiday in a tropical country where these monsters are cruising close to the beach. The MOON SHOT is an inshore spinning rod designed for sea fishing from beaches, rocks and even harbor walls, using medium sized hardbaits (plugs) and metal jigs to fish for sea bass and other coastal predator species . Lightweight, balanced blanks, combined with exceptional casting performance, the Moon Shot was designed in Japan and constructed from high modulus carbon with Hi-Power X technology for increased torsional strength and rapid tip recovery during cast. Fuji K-Type guides are used throughout the range to improve line ejection and minimize damage to braided lines and monofilaments. All models are two-piece and the lighter 2.59m (8'6 ") ML model can cast lures weighing 6g up to 32g, while the powerful 2.90m (9 ' 6 ") covers weights from 10g to 52g and jigs up to 60g.
