GEOFF ANDERSON DOZER BASIS BLACK

Geoff Anderson

Geoff Anderson WS Light Green is a technical fishing jacket designed to provide reliable weather protection while reducing weight without compromising durability, waterproofness or functionality. It weighs approximately 20% less than the other two models in the short-jacket range, thanks to a construction that removes unnecessary bulk while retaining protection where it matters most.

The outer fabric is made from Taslan polyamide, a material Geoff Anderson has used for over 20 years, combined with the brand's System Fabric membrane for waterproof and breathable performance. Lighter fabrics are used in areas where heavier material is not essential, including the pockets, hood and collar. The reduced use of folds and overlapping layers further helps to minimise weight.

Designed to withstand demanding fishing conditions, the jacket also features a construction suitable for exposure to saltwater. YKK® AquaGuard® zips and a robust main YKK® zip help protect against water and sand, while the lightweight design allows freedom of movement during fishing.

The hood features a peak, lining and one-hand adjustment system. The collar is lined with Rentex® fleece and has an elasticated closure. A comprehensive pocket layout provides practical storage for tackle boxes, accessories and tools, including a large rear storage pocket with an internal mesh pocket and drainage hole.

Technical specifications

Brand: Geoff Anderson

Model: WS Light

Colour: Green

Fabric: System Fabric

Outer fabric: Taslan polyamide

Membrane: Waterproof and breathable System Fabric

Weight: Approximately 20% lighter than the other two models in the short-jacket range

Construction: Designed for use in saltwater environments

Hood and collar

Lined hood with peak

One-hand hood adjustment

Collar lined with Rentex® fleece

Elasticated collar closure

Pockets and accessories

Rear D-ring and D-rings on both sides

Two large chest pockets with YKK® AquaGuard® zips

Two tackle box pockets

Two angled zippered pockets

Internal Napoleon pocket with YKK® zip

Large rear storage pocket with internal mesh pocket, YKK® zip and drainage hole

Hypalon tool holders on both chest pockets

Finishing and adjustments

Lightweight mesh lining

Smooth sleeve lining

Hypalon-covered cuffs with Velcro® adjustment

Adjustable waist with snap system

Robust YKK® main zip, resistant to sand and saltwater
