Daiwa 25 Emeraldas Air LT represents the new technological frontier in the sector of spinning reels specialized for eging. This premium reel integrates the innovative Airdrive Design, achieving unmatched levels of lightness, control, durability, and smoothness, establishing new performance standards for squid fishing.
The structure is based on the revolutionary Zaion Monocoque Body, made of ultra-high-density carbon-based composite material, which eliminates the need for a traditional side cover. This constructive solution significantly improves structural rigidity, gear precision, and internal space, allowing integration of a larger drive gear for optimized power transmission.
The Airdrive rotor in Zaion features an innovative and lightened design that guarantees lighter and more reactive initial rotation, reducing fatigue during prolonged eging sessions. The Airdrive Bail with reduced diameter and optimized inclination ensures smooth line transitions and minimizes tangling problems.
The internal mechanics are equipped with Tough Digigear in super duralumin, machine-worked with special surface treatment that guarantees lasting smoothness and resistance to high loads. The ATD Type-L drag system offers smooth and progressive action that activates immediately, following the prey's movement without sudden jerks.
The Magsealed technologies applied to the pinion and line roller create a magnetic oil barrier that prevents water and impurities from entering, maintaining consistent performance over time. The lightened Airdrive Spool with thin-wall design and hollowed internal structure significantly improves casting and drag reactivity.
The Twist Buster III in the line roller effectively eliminates line twist, while the LC-ABS (Long Cast ABS) system increases casting distance by up to 5% compared to previous models. The equipment includes 12 high-quality ball bearings, including CRBB and Magsealed, ensuring smooth rotation and prolonged durability even in severe marine conditions.
