<p>The new <strong>DAIWA 24 LUVIAS LT reel</strong> represents a further step forward in the concept of lightness, thanks to the adoption of the most recent technological innovations of the Airdrive design. This reel has undergone a complete redesign of its major components, including rotor (Airdrive Rotor), spool (Airdrive Spool), spindle (Airdrive Shaft) and bail (Airdrive Bail), leading to a significant reduction in overall weight. In the 2500 version, for example, the weight has been reduced from 175 to 150 grams compared to the previous model. The optimization of the design not only translates into greater lightness, but also into better fluidity of use, minimizing the rotation inertia of the rotor. This guarantees a more immediate response to the rotation of the handle, improving precision in spinning fishing techniques, especially during stop-and-go movements. Another innovation of the new Luvias is the ATD-L clutch, an advanced version of the well-known ATD clutch, now softer at the initial stress and capable of progressively hardening to better manage fish recovery.
