Italcanna returns to the world of LongCasting with the new Vector series, a line completely designed by computer and meticulously tested on different competition fields by various casters. The Vector-A4, with its extraordinary length of 4.50 meters, offers exceptional performance, sometimes allowing an improvement in maximum casting distances. This rod stands out for its extreme length and the power resulting from the use of high quality materials, which give it a record of lightness in its category. Suitable for all weights prescribed by the LongCasting discipline, VECTOR-A4 is particularly recommended for athletes with good physical power. Fitted as standard with very light and thin rings, the rod maintains an optimal weight balance and reduces the aerodynamic braking effect to a minimum. Upon request, it is possible to obtain the rod with blanks without rings. Vector achieved two world records in South Africa in February 2019, with throwing distances of 281.19 meters in the 150g class and 280 meters in the 125g class.

New 3 pcs, thin and light despite excellent thrust and power, which make it suitable even at a competitive level. This model is the result of our design experiences, gained in 50 years of activity in the sea sector, assisted by expert launchers who have fine-tuned the action by making the most of the dynamic characteristics of the new materials made available by the most innovative technologies. For example, like the high-level distributed rods, the Terranova exploits the principle of the "Double Charge" system that also preloads the lower part by making better use of the left hand lever. Thanks to this principle there is a feeling of greater softness, ease and management of the launch even if in reality the accumulated energy is far superior to the classic poles that a normal body can hardly exploit. Currently there are four models available for max 100, 130, 170 and 220 g and have respectively optimal casting 90/100 - 100/120 then 130/150 and 150/180 g. The first two elements have been made with the new HR - HM satin surface carbon while the stock is in woven carbon up to the cap, which in addition to presenting better protection for the underlying fibers from bumps or surface scratches demonstrates the high quality of the workmanship and use of first quality materials. The Sparviero and the Sparviero SPORT cover the need for two-piece rods, with shared action, suitable for power casting in fishing and therefore easy to use, suitable for both the average and advanced user. They are both tools completely aimed at fishing with not exaggerated action, able to adapt to the fisherman and not the other way around. Structurally they are made up of two symmetrical pieces, with a small diameter, about 21mm at the reel seat and which under dynamic load draw a perfect C curve, however detecting a short and extremely sensitive dead tip. Precisely for these characteristics both lend themselves to being underestimated as they are light, thin and with a fairly yielding stock, but the goodness of the carbon and the perfect scaling of the bow make the response fast and pleasant. They do not nail, they forgive a not perfect launch, they are docile, but the return is instantaneous, almost unexpected at the even violent closure. On the peg it is regal, the very sensitive top bows to the waves just enough to not move the ballast, but the fused petticoat at the arch make them sufficiently ready to handle spikes and sanded pyramids. The top signals the slightest touch with clarity, it is difficult not to notice a customer feasting on the other end of the line, even if small in size. The recovery of a prey generates new sensations, the tip supports the escape attempts in an incredible way, but the control of the major prey passes to the underside that does not joke ... The SPORT version is more aggressive and ready than the standard, leaving the same sensitivity at the tip and is particularly aimed at 150g + bait. In general we can say that the Sparrowhawk represents a return of the two pieces to the world of fishing. Leaving other tools to the throwing fields and extreme casting techniques, we regain the joy of a rod suitable for the advanced user who wants to have fun on the seashore struggling with waves or quieter situations but always with the awareness that for once, as in the old days, it is the rod that fits the launcher, not the other way around ...

The New Sparviero LGT by Italcanna has an even more sensitive and thin tip and is therefore aimed at light weight leads and for use with a fixed drum reel. The optimal casting is between 75 and 125g. above and side. Due to the extreme sensitivity of the tip, this model is not aimed at technical angled throws. It is fitted with a screw reel seat as standard.

Due to the small diameter we tend to underestimate it by comparing it to a Beach rod, but we can assure you that it is a rod that pushes and pushes a lot and does it without excessive physical effort. It is in fact a particularly useful product for those looking for a non-tiring rod: the power of the stock makes it suitable for everyone, experts and not, powerful and less powerful physicists. The Mangusta is certainly among the first "real" sea rods with a length of 5 m. Too often, in fact, those looking for a long lever for sea fishing had to fall back on more or less powerful Bolognese rods made with reel seat attachments of insufficient strength and guides that were unsuitable in terms of diameter and quality, without considering the terrible loading action. With Mangusta, however, you will have a long rod at your disposal, capable of casting at a considerable distance and of managing weights of up to 130g. Its length (just under 5 meters in compliance with the regulations) allows the use of particularly long terminals or the use more hooks on the same line. In the latter case, using a single rod will therefore have a greater chance of capture. The summit always remains very sensitive and able to sense even small via ferratas. The barrel has a very small section and is excellently balanced thanks to the new "Balance Optimizer" system which involves the use of particular components and "Ultra Light" structure rings, let's not forget that we have a disadvantageous leverage of almost 1 m more compared to classic surf rods. All the composite elements are built with the finest high modulus and high resistance carbon fibres, while the rings are in Alconite and SIC on the most stressed parts. At the end of the stock, a comfortable knob and high-grip paint ensure a firm grip. The barrel is equipped as standard with a quality ring-saving cap. Mangusta is made entirely in Italy in the Italcanna factories, and therefore with easy availability of every single spare part.

HEXAGON -R3 After 20 years of success, the rod proclaimed by many as the best telescopic rod ever created, the Hexagon is renewed with the R3 model. In fact, thanks to the most recent innovations in the field of composite materials, we have been able to overcome our previous CarboTitanium (Italcanna patent 12/13/2002) due to a mixture of IM/HM carbon in epoxy resin with a dispersion of nano-coposite fillers, and a stock made with the exclusive “StarCross” carbon This particular construction has led to a product with high reliability, while retaining the characteristic of the previous model of accumulating almost double energy compared to a traditional barrel in pure high modulus, and above all in capable of almost entirely returning this energy to the lead. The Hexagon 100 stands out for the rapid loading of the lead even with little excursion (therefore it could also be suitable for low attack), ideal for light fishing for bream and bream, both from the beach and from the reef. The 150 gr model is sensitive, light, loads easily in progression without tearing the bait, and reaches considerable distances even with unforced casts. We could define the Hexagon 200 as the evolution of our Evo170 model, powerful and safe, it manages heavy ballasts in the best possible way, excellent with thin lines. All models have excellent balance, sliding tube that do not turn, plastic savers, and the most recent Fuji anti-node rings in SIC, with stone embedded in the metal structure. Their particular shape prevents the line from getting caught during the cast. The Hexagon R3 today represents the top of our production in the telescopic sector for surfcasting.
